This parish works alongside tikanga Maori in isolated townships and rural areas north of Gisborne.

Tolaga Bay – St Andrew’s
A bicultural, family-friendly congregation that worships on 1st & 3rd Sundays of each month, plus the major festivals, normally at 9am. Historic church on Endeavour Street in Tolaga Bay township is set in attractive grounds with good access and facilities. Friendly and welcoming of all denominations.

East Coast Anglican Parish services are advertised in Saturday night’s Gisborne Herald
St Andrew’s Holiday Cottage in adjacent Solander St, Tolaga Bay, available for clergy, church workers and the public. Walking distance to beach and shops.

Te Puia – St Margaret’s
A bicultural, family-friendly congregation that worships on 2nd Sunday of each month at 10am. Memorial church on attractive site overlooking a small lake on SH35 within Te Puia township, close to hospital, hotel and hot pools, and only 15min drive from Tokomaru Bay and Waipiro Bay.
